Location
The village has a long history, with mentions dating back to the Domesday Book, and later became known for the Somerset Coal Canal, remnants of which can still be explored today. Combe Hay also features several listed buildings, including the Grade II* Combe Hay Manor and the historic Packhorse Inn. The surrounding valley offers scenic footpaths, woodland routes, and country rambles, making it ideal for walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers.
